We are looking for an experienced Federal Chief Technology Officer to help launch our Public Sector business.  The responsibilities of the CTO include leading the Federal Certification Development in collaboration with corporate engineering and product development, providing thought leadership to industry via media trade outlets and conferences and establishing a go to market strategy include use case development. 

To be successful as a Federal CTO, you should have prior organizational leadership experience, be able to collaborate with team members, and be a strategic problem-solver. Ultimately, a top-notch Federal VP should demonstrate excellent communication skills, an ability to connect with other engineers and developers, and have a solid foundation in software and infrastructure design specifically in Data Science. Whilst managing exceptional code quality across a range of software deliverables, you have a desire to manage and empower your team, while also engaging in the conversation and debate about technical direction.

A deep understanding of AI and ML, both in code and in third party integration, will be crucial to helping us establish a competitive advantage in these critical areas. 

This role may be remote and located anywhere in the US.

What You Will Do

  • Provide technical leadership for team members, helping to constructively guide and at times make decisions related to technology choices, and working to help key team members be onboard with those decisions and supportive of them.
  • Face of the organization to industry through thought leadership, speaking engagements and partnership engagement. 
  • Conducting workforce planning and actively recruiting staff who are strong contributors and exhibit an Integrator Mindset and have the potential to be high performers.
  • Create and drive a robust certification roadmap for platform, security differentiation against competitors, and hosting cost reduction. 
  • Participating in the core leadership team as a collaborator, idea generator, and strategic thinker. Representing a technical voice and advocating for the technological needs of our clients. Contributing to our company wide strategic plan, and also planning the strategic direction of the Public Sector business
  • Recommending technological developments and improvements for our client base. Use qualitative and quantitative measures to track progress and demonstrate effectiveness of technological advancement.

What We Are Looking For

  • Computer Science or similar degree or equivalent experience.
  • Strong organizational leadership skills in a global organization.
  • Extensive experience in working with stakeholders to create certification Roadmap 
  • Experience in recruiting engineers and contributors. Getting people who are talented, motivated, and intelligent to be excited about working with us.
  • Experience with Data Science tools and applications.
  • Current understanding of cloud-based SaaS technology solutions and experience implementing them.
  • Must be knowledgeable about industry trends, best practices, and change management.
