About this Opportunity 

H2O.ai is looking for exceptional candidates to join our dynamic BDR team in Latin America. As a Business Development Representative (BDR) focused on the Spanish market, in Mexico, you will play an important role in driving the growth of our AI company by establishing and nurturing strong partnerships, facilitating seamless communication with Marketing and Sales, and leveraging your experience in lead prospection/qualification. 

What You Will Do

Lead Prospecting and Qualification:
  • Manage a substantial volume of inbound leads.
  • Utilize your extensive experience in lead prospection/ qualification to identify and efficiently reach high-potential customers
  • Conduct comprehensive research on leads to understand their business needs, pain points, and potential fit with our AI and ML solutions.
  • Engage with leads through various channels, such as phone calls, emails, LinkedIn and virtual meetings, to assess their interest and readiness for sales engagement.
Sales Team Collaboration:
  • Work closely with the sales team to provide them with the necessary support and resources for effective lead prospection + conversion based on their target accounts.
  • Communicate regularly with the sales team to gather feedback on lead quality and continuously improve the lead qualification process.
  • Ensure seamless coordination between partner-related activities and the sales team's efforts.
  • Ensure timely follow-up and appropriate allocation of leads to sales representatives.
SalesForce Knowledge:
  • Utilize SalesForce to manage leads, track activities, and report on performance.
  • Keep SalesForce data accurate and up to date, ensuring it serves as a valuable tool for sales and marketing efforts.
  • Partner Engagement:
  • Foster and maintain strong relationships with existing partners to maximize mutual business opportunities and promote collaboration.
  • Identify and onboard new partners to expand our partner network and drive additional revenue streams.
  • Support regional marketing in collaborating with partners to develop joint strategic initiatives that generate leads and raise brand awareness.
Market Analysis and Reporting:
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitive landscape, and potential opportunities 
  • Prepare regular reports on lead generation activities, lead qualification metrics, and sales performance for management review.

What We Are Looking For

  • BA/BS degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
  • Entry, mid-level position with a minimum of 1 year of BDR/SDR experience in a B2B tech company
  • Experience working with Zoom, Salesforce, Outreach.io, ZoomInfo, and or similar tools
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with advanced English (both verbal and written) being mandatory. 
  • Strong listening and presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced SaaS environment. 
  • Ability to travel as needed, up to 25% of the time.
  • High level of organization and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
