About This Opportunity 

This role is for a Software Engineer with knowledge of Python, Go, Java, React, TypeScript, microservices/cloud-native architecture, Docker/Kubernetes, AWS, SnowFlake and CI/CD pipelines. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in designing, building, and maintaining scalable, high-performance software solutions that drive our business forward.

This position is based in Sri Lanka. 

What You Will Do

• Design, implement, and maintain robust back-end services using Python, Java and Go.
• Develop high-performance, responsive front-end interfaces that maintain excellence as functional complexity increases.
• Translate high-level product concepts into detailed technical specifications while making architectural trade-offs transparent.
• Drive engineering excellence through rigorous code reviews, comprehensive testing, and clear documentation.
• Collaborate effectively with design, product, and data science teams to deliver impactful software solutions.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to ensure smooth and efficient code deployment and integration.
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code, adhering to industry best practices.
• Monitor application performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize systems to ensure reliability and efficiency.

What We Are Looking For

We are focused on demonstrable skills and technical proficiency rather than specific tenure. You are an ideal candidate if you have:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science or Engineering program, or equivalent.
• True full-stack capabilities, comfortable designing gRPC/REST APIs and building the corresponding consumer interfaces.
• Familiarity with Linux development environment and Git.
• Produce high-quality, readable code that is easy to extend and fully supported by automated tests.
• A mastery of computer science fundamentals, including concurrency, networking, data structures, and advanced debugging.
• Experience maintaining production systems and understand the long-term impact of technical design decisions.
• A clear communicator who can articulate complex ideas to both technical peers and non-engineering stakeholders.
• You thrive in ambiguous environments and proactively take ownership of technical challenges.
