People Operations Leader

We are looking for an innovative People Operations leader to develop and implement a People Agenda for our cutting-edge organization. This individual is a self-starter and who would oversee the creation of scalable processes, outline the technology roadmap and develop metrics and analytics.  The successful candidate will partner with leadership across the company to design and deliver innovative programs and solutions in each of these areas that lead to a great employee experience. We are a growing company so the team is small, which means there will be a lot of hands-on work, but expect to grow in the near future.  

This role is US-based and may be a remote position.

What You Will Do

  • Systems & Tools:  Manage people related systems and tools and propose new tools and systems for scale.
  • Compensation: Research and maintain data on external compensation across roles and geographies. Ensure that compensation is fair and unbiased.
  • Benefits: Oversee the management and administration of global benefits and policies.  Identify the benefits options based on market data, managing changes, and enrollment.
  • Analytics & Metrics:  Bring an analytical mindset and leverage tools to assist H2O in making people decisions.
  • Performance Management: Manage our biannual performance review process. Assist managers to ensure consistent practices.
  • Compliance:  Ensures that H2O is compliant with global requirements; owns the immigration process

What You Bring

  • 7+ years of experience in leading People Operations teams at high-growth companies
  • Global mindset – ability to adapt to people and cultures quickly
  • Compensation experience a must
  • Experience with PEOs highly desirable
  • Experience with HRIS, survey, analytics, and compensation tools
  • Experience designing DEI initiatives with proven results for attracting and retaining talent
  • Strong project management skills with experience driving projects from beginning to end
  • Proven ability to thrive on a small team
